There are numerous types of hair that you can use to do jumbo braids. Braiding hair is very affordable and depending on the length of your braids and your head size the amount of packs of hair you use will vary. Using Marley hair to do your braids adds a more rough and dread lock look to your hair while braids done with Kanekalon hair are very silky and smooth to the touch.

Oil sheen/spray is recommended for touching up your braids and keeping them looking fresh. You can even wash your braids to keep them clean. You can also change the length or color of your braids to make your hairstyle more unique to your look or personality. There is no such thing as a crazy color with braids.
