What inspired your outfit today?
I was looking to see what items would go well together. I found the skirt first and I eventually found this shirt. I really wanted to wear the shirt because the color contrasted do well with my skirt plus the shirt is so much fun!

How would you describe your personal style?
My personal style always evolves! From funky patterns all the time to color blocking. Right now I would describe myself as classy chic. Sometimes it's like I'm from a different time period It's not always intentional but it's what just flows naturally from my wardrobe right now!

Describe the perfect spring time outfit...
My perfect spring time outfit right now would be a lime green trumpet skirt and bright colored top! (I really want a trumpet skirt). With a set of pearls :-)

Why do you love skirts?
I love skirts because they make me feel like a lady, plus they are oh-so comfortable!

Michaeline's outfit is perfect to wear on a nice chill day on campus. Her outfit is fun , with a comical t-shirt, nice soft tones and pastel pink lipstick. The glasses are the perfect accessory for the spring season and Mikey looks amazingly fashionable on her campus. Michaeline makes dressing up on campus look effortless.

The Importance of Finding Your Own Personal Style

Fashion has been a very important factor in the day to day affairs of our culture. Many people are falling in love with fashion and taking what they wear more seriously. One must find their own unique voice in the fashion world in order to stand out. With a rush of fashion trends coming out every season we have to chose whether or not we will follow these trends or establish our own. Having your own sense of personal style will most importantly make you feel confident.



It is important to find your own unique voice in the fashion world and to do that one must have style and not just fashion. Style is not just the clothes that you wear but it is the way you carry yourself, the touch & feel behind everything that you do. My favorite fashion quote is this "Fashion fades but style is eternal". Finding your own personal style may be a long endeavor but it can be very fun as well. There are a plethora of styles to chose from and you can even mix and match to create a style all unique of your own.

You might be wondering, why have your own style, why not just copy popular trends? Well having your own style creates a way for you to express who you are. Whether we want to admit this is true or not when others see you they see what you are wearing. Your appearance speaks on behalf of you before you do.
